Memberships
Persons entitled to a pass under “FAMILY” are those who are claimed on the Federal Income Tax Form. There is a maximum of 2 adults allowed on all FAMILY passes. Any exception must be cleared by Park Management. Children under the age of (4) do not need a pass but will only be admitted if accompanied by a paid adult. NOTE: ANY CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF ELEVEN (11), WHETHER THEY HOLD A FAMILY PASS OR NOT, MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
Family membership is for a maximum of 2 adults (age range 18 and up) and 2 children (4-17). Additional children can be added for a fee.
The Borough of Nazareth reserves the right to designate one day each year for a Nazareth Community Day at the Nazareth Borough Park and Pool, at which time the regular daily price schedule will not be in effect.
The Borough of Nazareth reserves the right to close early on four (4) unspecified dates for the Nazareth Area Swim Team. Refunds will not be given on these days.
The Borough Park will not issue refunds for any reason. All Returned Checks will incur a $50 fee.
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in any of the Borough’s Parks. This includes the pool area.
Large Coolers are not permitted in the enclosed pool area unless it is a Borough approved Pool Party. Small soft coolers are permitted in the pool area. They cannot exceed 10 inches in length, 8 inches in depth or 8 inches in height.
Note: By submitting this registration, I acknowledge this information to be true and accurate. I understand that my fees will be adjusted accordingly should there be any errors. I have read and acknowledge the Pool Rules and Regulations and my "FAMILY" and I agree to follow all of the written and posted rules or face possible removal from the pool or cancellation of our passes.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
All quests are required to abide by the following rules for the safety and enjoyment of all patrons.
ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED IN PARK
In accordance with Chapter 16, Part 1, §109, of the Code of Ordinances of the Borough of Nazareth, Council of the Borough of Nazareth implements the following park rules:
1. No running on the pool deck or in the hallways or dressing rooms.
2. Diving permitted in diving area only. No diving in shallow water.
3. Accidents or safety hazards should be reported immediately to the lifeguard.
4. The following are not permitted in the pool enclosure:
Pets
Glass containers, cans, bottles
Flotation devices, only in organized classes
Frisbee, ball playing, horseplay
Skateboards
Swim fins, masks and snorkels
Cutoffs
T-shirts
Toys
Snorkel gear
5. The following are permitted in the pool:
Goggles that do not cover the nose
Inflatable balls at least ten (10) inches in circumference
6. Persons with communicable diseases, skin or eye infections, shall not use the pool.
7. Food permitted in designated area only.
8. No bombing--no one may land closer than six (6) feet from another swimmer.
9. No diving or jumping within ten (10) feet of guard stand.
10. The Property Committee and the Park Manager are authorized to revoke pool passes and privileges when the holder of a pass is found to be in violation of these rules and the ordinances governing the Nazareth Borough Park.
11. Lifeguards must be obeyed. Persons disobeying lifeguards may be removed from the pool.
12. The Nazareth Borough reserves the right to close the pool due to inclement weather, adequate patronage, etc.
13. No refunds will be issued.
Sliding Board Rules
1. Non-swimmers may not go on slide.
2. Use of the sliding board shall be limited to persons exceeding 48 inches in height.
3. One person on the slide and the ladder at a time.
4. No horseplay, swimming, jumping or diving in the slide area.
5. Look below to be sure water is clear of all people before going off the slide.
6. Feet first off the slide. (Sitting position only.)
7. Immediately swim to the nearest side away from the slide.
Kiddie Pool Rules
1. Parents or responsible adult eighteen (18) years of age or older must accompany youngsters to the pool.
2. Children must be supervised at all times.
3. Disposable diapers are not permitted in the pool or kiddie pool.
4. Toys are allowed in the wading pool at the lifeguard's discretion.
5. Anyone coming into the pool area, including preschoolers and mothers (including those just watching the child) must have a family pass or get a day pass.
Passes can be picked up once the pool is open for the season.
